Course Description
The NEBOSH General Certificate is a recognised and respected qualification in occupational health and safety. The course provides an excellent introduction to the principles of the management of health and safety by addressing health and safety culture, legislation and risk management.
The final assessment requires that delegates pass two written papers and a practical test.
Delegates will benefit from the BSi training approach involving exercises, problem solving and presentations. All this is supported and delivered by highly qualified and experience tutors in health and safety.
Who should attend?
The NEBOSH General Certificate course is applicable to anyone in management; aspiring and current health and safety managers, advisors and supervisors within all industry sectors; the course is also applicable to any member of staff with specific health and safety responsibilities.
Whilst there are no specific entry requirements in terms of qualifications or previous health and safety knowledge, delegates should have a good command of the English language and be able to express themselves effectively in writing.

Course Structure
The NEBOSH General Certificate course follows a well defined syllabus and includes comprehensive coverage of key elements of the management of health and safety. The course is structured into two modules each of a five day block plus a practical and written examination at selected locations across the UK.
