Greenhouse gas emissions verification launched by BSI for the aviation industry
Aviation industry now required to operate under the EU emissions trading scheme
BSI is today launching a new Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions verification service for the aviation industry. This comes in response to the industry’s requirement to comply with the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) whereby aviation operators are required to monitor their CO2 emissions and submit a verified annual emissions report by 31st March 2011.
